where i thought i was going and where i ended up are on parallel universes, apparently...
it's beautiful! so THAT's why you've not been on the forum, lately!(I've gotten about 20 knitting books out of the library lately but haven't actually learned to knit yet so I am impressed.)
Congratulations, Jenna! Great job! I tried to learn to knit from my mom when I was...12 or something. I was working on a scarf and had about 4 inches. I have an aunt who married a man from Lebanon and his mother was visiting and didn't speak any English...we all got together for Thanksgiving and she didn't have anything to do or anyone to talk to, so she took my scarf and knitted about 6 feet of it that single afternoon. I gave up knitting for a long time after that - I was never going to be able to compete - although I'm starting to love it again now. ;)
